Partner, Carmine R. Villani, Esq.

 Former municipal prosecutor and founding Partner, Carmine R. Villani, Esq., has been a lifelong resident of Ocean County and regularly appears in Point Pleasant Municipal Court. Mr. Villani has been practicing since 1992 and has experience in both criminal prosecution and criminal defense. In the past, Mr. Villani served as Municipal Prosecutor for both Colts Neck and Keansburg. He currently serves as the Public Defender in Colts Neck and as the Alternate Public Defender for Bay Head. On the defense side, Mr. Villani served as Public Defender for Point Pleasant Beach, as Conflict Public Defender in Brick Township and as Conflict Public Defender in the Township Of Barnegat. In addition to defending hundreds of DWI, DUI, and refusal cases, Mr. Villani holds the distinction of being one of a very few attorneys who is Alcotest® certified. Mr. Villani was trained as an operator by the manufacturer (Draeger Safety Diagnostics) to operate the Alcotest® 7110 MKIII-C. The Alcotest® replaces the old breathalyzers and is currently the only breath testing instrument used by New Jersey law enforcement agencies to determine the Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of suspected intoxicated motorists.

 

Associate, Timothy L. Horn, Esq.

 Associate attorney and long-time Ocean County resident, Timothy L. Horn, Esq., has been with Villani & DeLuca since 2002 and mainly focuses on criminal defense, DWI, DUI, personal injury, and motor vehicle violations. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Horn served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable, Edward J. Turnbach, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey’s Ocean County Criminal Division.
